As we close in on the final 24 hours of 2012, it’s no surprise that our nation’s leaders can’t pull it together and come up with a decent solution to our impending financial doom. From the dinner table conversations we’ve heard over the past day or so, it seems like Americans are prepared to go cliff diving.
If you feel uneasy about your financial plunge, here are few things you make sure you have in your rescue pack:
- A parachute: You’ll need to have a safe landing, of course.
- A plan: It’s good to know how you’re going to climb back up the cliff and regain some financial ground.
- A first-aid kit: Your wallet or any other financial vehicle may leave a few bruises, just don’t get hit with a haymaker.
The Senate is set to meet Monday morning. Maybe something will get settled by then. We’ll just have to wait and see.
